Job Title: Support Worker - Notetaker
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused individual to provide comprehensive note-taking services for students with disabilities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating accurate, typed records of lectures, seminars, and discussions in the student's preferred format. This may involve sharing notes in real-time or providing them after the session.
Key Responsibilities:
* To produce high-quality, typed records of academic sessions
* To incorporate pertinent information, diagrams, and references as required
* To maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and respect at all times
* To act in the best interests of students while adhering to university policies
* To maintain professional boundaries within the role
Requirements:
* Hold a degree or equivalent qualification
* Complete accredited training in specialist notetaking for deaf or visually impaired students
* Meet typing speed requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in notetaking or similar roles
* Familiarity with the Higher Education environment
* Knowledge of disability support and campus layout
