Purpose of the Role
The Industry 4.0 Manager will be responsible for driving the adoption and integration of Industry 4.0, customer software and digital solutions within the UK market. This role focuses on delivering efficient machinery, software and digital solutions to enhance customer & stakeholder processes. The role holder will play a critical role in being accountable for driving Industry 4.0, customer software and digital solutions sales in the UK Market with new and existing customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities
* Lead Industry 4.0 sales initiatives across the UK market, engaging both new and existing customers.
* Responsible for managing a pipeline of Industry 4.0 sales opportunities.
* Propose and design efficient machine configurations and solutions tailored to customer needs.
* Drive the adoption of digital solutions with customers and stakeholders.
* Coordinate with internal teams (RAD, sales, technical, operations, marketing) and external partners for smooth project execution.
* Configure machinery and software at customer sites, ensuring proper installation and alignment of all components (machines, tooling, software, operators).
* Deliver technical demonstrations and comprehensive training on machinery, tooling, integrated software and digital solutions.
* Provide ongoing technical support through remote assistance and on-site interventions as required.
* Manage customer feedback, complaints, and enquiries, delivering timely and effective resolutions.
* Prepare detailed reports on service activities and propose solutions to improve customer outcomes.
* Use software to remotely assist customers with the issues and problems they are experiencing and, where necessary, go on-site for intervention.
* Produce detailed reports of work carried out and align with Reynaers Duffel on how to improve services and/or proposed solutions to customers.
* Work closely and build relationships with the Industry 4.0, software and digital teams at RAD, which is the main knowledge hub for technical and commercial information and support.
Key Skills / Qualifications
* Proven hands-on technical or engineering background, with a strong interest in software and digital applications.
* Experience in production methods, factory layouts, and manufacturing disciplines.
* Familiarity with CNC machinery, saws, clamping systems, and specialised tooling.
* Proficiency with software / digital tools such as Inventor, AutoCAD and Logikal is advantageous.
* Strong relationship-building skills with internal teams and external stakeholders.
* Ability to manage a sales pipeline and identify strategic growth opportunities.
* Excellent communication skills for technical presentations and customer interactions.
* An enthusiastic starter who, with extensive training, will quickly gain the knowledge to support customers' requirements and support them in achieving gains in productivity with our proven third-party machine improvements and technical knowledge.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience in implementing Industry 4.0 solutions.
* Previous experience working with machinery providers.
* Knowledge of automation systems and digital processes.
Additional Information:
* Frequent travel to customer sites and partner locations will be required.
* Occasional travel to Reynaers Duffel, including training as part of the induction.
