Job summary Fixed Term 12 months We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, conscientious, self-motivated individual to work in our Inventory management team. Based in the Theatres Stores, at Wansbeck General Hospital, the post holder will be providing an Inventory management service for the Theatres Consumables and Implants, of which full training will be given. Reporting to the Inventory Team Leader, you will be working in the Theatres stores and these duties will include stock rotation, inventory management, receiving goods from suppliers, checking the quantity and quality of the goods and the completion of any necessary documentation. This role is based at Wansbeck Hospital in the Theatres stores and is a fixed term for 12 months. The shift pattern will be 10am-6pm. Main duties of the job You should have experience of receipting and checking parcels, stock replenishment, stock rotation and / or working in a stores environment. You should have good interpersonal skills, be customer facing with a helpful, friendly and flexible attitude. You should be PC literate with experience of entering data into computerised systems. You should be able to use your own initiative, and be able to work alone and well as part of a team. The ability to work to deadlines and communicate with staff at all levels is essential.
