You will assume the role of a full-time team member at a Global Pharmaceutical company headquartered in Teesside, reporting directly to the IT Manager and working alongside the Global IT Team. Your primary responsibilities encompass providing support and contributing to the development of various IT systems and processes. Key responsibilities include: Offering internal IT support and logging support requests through the IT Service Desk. Administering and supporting the Windows Server environment, both on-site and in Azure. Managing and supporting network systems. Ensuring the security and safeguarding of data across all IT systems. Administering and supporting the Business Central ERP system. Managing and supporting Microsoft 365 and Azure platforms. Creating and maintaining documentation related to IT systems. Monitoring and maintaining backup systems and assisting in Disaster Recovery efforts. Procuring IT hardware and software following authorization from the IT Manager. Actively participating in IT projects and upgrades, both at the local and global levels. Contributing to the development of procedures, work instructions, and engaging in continuous improvement initiatives. Required Skills and Experience: Possession of a minimum of CompTIA A certification and Azure Fundamentals or an equivalent IT qualification. A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in an IT support role. Experience with Microsoft Azure and 365. Proficiency in Windows Server and Client systems. Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy. Competence in networking, including VLANs. Experience with Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware. Strong time management skills. Exceptional attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities. Technical aptitude, including the ability to quickly grasp and adapt to new technologies. Salary dependent on skills and experience but c£27,500 - £30,000 plus a generous benefits package.
