We have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Assistant Management Accountant to join a growing team within our thriving manufacturing business, based in Bangor.
Reporting to our Financial Controller, you will be joining a dynamic and hardworking team and will play an integral part in supporting business goals.
You will be exposed to many different finance activities, and there will be opportunity to develop into a Management Accountant. Your duties will include, although will not be limited to:
1. Posting journals and supporting preparation of monthly management accounts.
2. Compiling data and reporting for KPIs.
3. Balance sheet reconciliations.
4. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
5. Supporting fellow team members and covering their duties when required.
6. Credit control.
7. Preparing supplier payment runs, and overseeing purchase ledger to ensure that all suppliers are paid within terms.
Our Requirements
1. Minimum 1 year proven finance experience.
2. Desire to continue study towards CIMA qualification.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Driven to learn and develop.
5. Enthusiastic and positive approach.
6. Strong organisational skills.
7. Good analytical and problem solving skills.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The Package

2. Permanent contract working 39 hours per week, over 4.5 days Monday to Friday (early finish on Friday).
