Base pay range
We are currently looking for an ambitious and highly motivated Project Coordinator to join our client, a leading and well-established school refurbishment company providing educational establishments with complete turn-key design, refurbishment and FF&E packages to clients nationwide.
You would provide a high standard of support on the Estimating & Pre Construction side of the business, coordinating the delivery/installation of projects in the Summer holidays. The role will involve visiting sites to carry out site surveys, supporting the pre-construction process, and managing the delivery and execution of secured projects.

The Role
1. Carrying out the initial survey on site using a 3D scanner, Photos, surveyor checklist form
2. Attending Handover meetings and taking full ownership for the brief from Project Consultants to ensure a detailed handover to the Pre-Contracts Team
3. Assessing the Design and Estimate prior to this being submitted to the Project Consultant to ensure this is in line with the brief given and amends made if necessary
4. Ensuring designs are compliant with relevant regulations and put in measures to support and systematize this
5. Sending out tender packages and collating quotes from the subcontractors
6. Maintaining the subcontractor list to ensure all documentation is up to date, source new contractors as required
7. Ensuring all materials, labour, furniture etc., are scheduled for the project stages and lead-times monitored to ensure an on-time completion of the project
A company van would be provided during the months of project management (July – August), along with a company laptop and phone.
The Candidate
You will be a hardworking and dependable individual, highly organized and able to perform under pressure and to deadlines. Strong customer service skills are essential as the role will include dealing directly with the client, and the ability to build relationships at all levels is required.
You must be fully conversant with preparing Risk Assessments, Method Statements, etc., able to demonstrate a practical knowledge of the various trades that are required for interior fit-out, plus fully aware of the H & S requirements that go with projects of this nature.
