Who You Are You are an experienced agency social worker with a strong background in Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH), focusing on Drugs & Alcohol (D&A) as well as Contextual Safeguarding. You possess the ability to effectively manage complex cases, collaborate within a multi-agency environment, and meet statutory requirements. Your expertise includes addressing the needs of Children and Young People, especially those in need of protection or who may be Looked After. What the Job Involves This role requires immediate commencement and is based at Lancashire House in Accrington, with a schedule of three days in the office and two days working from home each week, continuing until February 28, 2025. You will join a multi-agency team tasked with fulfilling the Directorate's statutory obligations under Local Children's Authority guidelines, following central government directives. Key responsibilities include conducting social work assessments, supporting referrals and ongoing cases based on assessed needs, and championing the benefits of equality and diversity in all duties and responsibilities.
