Job overview We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Clinical Support Worker to join us as an integral member of our multi-disciplinary team (MDT) within the Paediatric Department. You will be expected to undertake care that meet the needs of the patients, working within the Trust's policies, procedures and unit philosophy. As a CSW, you will provide a seamless service and high-quality care to patients, working collaboratively as part of the paediatric team, under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. It is expected that the Clinical Support Worker will continue to develop their own capabilities and knowledge of nursing tasks in line with the Trust's career pathway. So, if this sounds like the role for you - please apply today Main duties of the job Assist in the attendance process by accurately recording patients demographic details To assist patients with personal hygiene as instructed. Assist patients with eating and drinking. Monitoring and accurate recording of dietary and fluid intake appropriately reporting Report any abnormalities to the nurse in charge Carry out observations as instructed by the nurse in charge and escalate any concerns appropriate in line with policy Enable patients to access appropriate toileting facilities.
