EC is looking for a Senior Creative (Maternity Cover) to join the team on a 13-month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Head of Creative, you’ll be a pivotal part of our creative executions, with a particular focus on brand activation and event production design. You are a passionate creative who lives and breathes experiential and conceptual design. We want to hear about what inspired you at the weekend, what was the last experience that knocked your socks off creatively? You have at least 5 years of experience designing brand activation, experiential, or event design, backed by a strong portfolio showcasing your exceptional design and creative skills. You think in 3D. How do our guests feel as they enter a space? What do they see, hear touch, and feel? Your creativity comes grounded from a strong production way of thinking i.e. knowledge of best design practices, methods, and materials. You’re comfortable designing for a wide range of event types and sectors—anything from fashion to pharma, automotive to financial services, consumer brands to private events. You are confident in leading the creative on pitches and proposals. You’re comfortable leading a team of creative specialists when required, whether in-house or freelance – i.e 3D Visualisers, Graphic designers, or Mid-weight Creatives You have excellent written and verbal communication with a sharp eye for detail. You’re confident working within brand or event guidelines, translating them into captivating live environments. You are approachable and a team player, with a mentoring mindset to help support the growth of the individuals in the Studio and the overall department growth. You’re entrepreneurial and efficient, you thrive in fast-paced environments and can work unsupervised. You’re Imaginative and curious, you stay inspired by exploring the worlds of design, experience creation, and visual arts. You’re calm under pressure and skilled at managing multiple projects to meet deadlines. You take ownership of your work, prioritizing projects efficiently and managing expectations across teams. Software Experience : Extremely confident and skilled in using Sketchup for designing and communicating your ideas to the wider team and client presentations. Knowledge of Enscape/TwinMotion (Advantage but not necessary) You’re very comfortable with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. You have a working knowledge of and competence with, Microsoft Office, Teams, and Outlook. You are comfortable working in both PowerPoint and Google Slides to create client presentations. Day-to-day responsibilities: Leading on the interrogation of briefs and working in tandem with the lead Account Manager or Project Manager in the development of creative and event strategies that effectively bring our client's vision to life. Taking ownership of the end-to-end development of your creative project – from brief to delivery. Spanning across a wide range of industry sectors and event formats. Ensuring all responses are on-brand, innovative, and delivered on time. Ideating, developing, and delivering the creative for your projects. Create the following tools to communicate your ideas to the internal teams and clients: Creative writing, mood boards, floor plans (Vectorworks), 3D designs (Sketch-up), scamps & sketches, visualization & costing briefs, and client presentations. Working closely with our Studio Manager leadership to manage your workflow efficiently, working across a variety of projects in tandem. Liaising with colleagues across the company, external production suppliers when required, and other third parties, from initial idea to final delivery, to ensure that concepts are technically feasible and achievable within budget. Credibly presenting concepts and pitch responses both internally and directly to clients. Working closely with our in-house Content department offering Art Direction when required. Challenging the status quo, and proactively seeking alternate perspectives and approaches in developing effective and improved design, client creative presentation, and concepts.
