We are seeking a talented individual to join our Creative Services team at Marsh. This role will be based in London. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
Reporting to the Creative Director, you will provide desktop publishing support to the deal executives and be responsible for the production of high quality marketing collateral. You'll combine your high level of proficiency in MS Office with a creative approach to content layout and template design. Contributing to high profile transactions, you will be flexible and resilient while working within tight timeframes.
A role in the Creative Services team will expose you to a fast paced environment with a good level of variety. Working with the Creative Director and clients you will ascertain scope of work/objectives, agreeing deliverables and time frames. Engagement with clients is constant. You will lead your own projects and receive exposure to all sector teams.
We will count on you to:
Bid submissions and presentations
* Working alongside the Creative Director and clients you will ascertain scope of work/objectives, agreeing deliverables and time frames
* Creating new PowerPoint and Word templates for client presentations
* Working on improving layout of presentations and placemats as per guidelines, suggesting improvements and designing alternate layouts/charts/diagrams
* Providing advanced formatting support for PowerPoint and Word documents and Excel charting, including redesigning slides in PowerPoint
* Tailoring pitch materials to specific client requirements or to convey key messages
* Having custody of key documents through the editing/review/proofing stages
* Layout copy, tables and graphs of final bid submission documents
* Sourcing imagery, developing and researching concepts, designing or working with existing layout templates, developing concepts and submitting for client approval
* Overseeing final production of bid submission documents where required, including liaising with printers and other suppliers
* Creating final PDF submission by consolidating various documents/components (covers, dividers and attachments etc)
* Other layout/design requests as required which may include development and production of flyers, brochures, advertisements and fact sheets
* Embedding video/audio/Flash components as required
Other duties
* Assisting the team with general presentation requests, updating business materials and resources
* Assisting with general MS Office requests and template/document troubleshooting
* Image searching using photo libraries as required
* Concept development and template development
* Liaising with printers and other suppliers for final production of printed materials
* Upholding corporate branding to ensure consistency with style guide
* Updating job tracking systems and maintaining a high standard of procedural work practices
What you need to have:
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office PowerPoint, Word, intermediate Excel
* Working knowledge of Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign) and Adobe Acrobat Pro
* Experience designing, developing and using templates
* Excellent organisational skills, the ability to work efficiently under pressure and multi-task to meet deadlines
* Print production experience
* Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on quality and consistency
* Proven ability to work as part of a team and build relationships with internal clients and colleagues
* Excellent eye for layout and design essential
* Relevant experience working in a corporate in-house design/presentation/document preparation environment
* Adept at problem solving and a quick learner
* Preference for working in a fast paced environment
