Working for a reputable business in the energy from waste sector, they are looking to bring on board a Contracts Manager to join their contracts team, travelling across Scotland, visiting existing clients, identifying new business opportunities, and managing contracts with local authorities.
Responsibilities
1. Monitor and develop action plans to seek to adopt continuous improvement in contract performance.
2. Liaise with operations and fuel suppliers to ensure fuel quality and adherence to site rules.
3. Develop and manage contingency plans.
4. Liaise with site management to ensure that fuel supply volumes are sourced and maintained.
5. Develop and maintain the contract risk register, ensuring legislative compliance and adherence to Company policies and procedures.
6. Manage contracts with local authorities.
7. Identify new business development opportunities and conduct existing client visits.
Requirements
1. Previous experience working within the waste sector is highly advantageous.
2. Previous experience as a Contracts Manager or in account management.
3. Background in managing numerous contracts and building client relationships is essential.
