Job Description Your purpose will be to spearhead the online presence of Raffles London at The OWO, our websites, social media, and wider digital activity to ensure that they are the best possible showcase for the hotel. You will develop campaigns that excite, engage, inform, and ultimately drive business to what will be one of London’s most iconic hotels. You will deploy robust ROI metrics to track results and report on successful activity. You will look at best practice methodologies in digital marketing and be bold - embracing new initiatives that will boost both our reputation and support our commercial goals. Responsibilities Operation You will be accountable for: Website: Maintaining up to date and effective websites in association with our internal teams and external agency partners (The OWO destination site, Raffles London pages that sit on Raffles.com as well as on the Accor website) Writing and ensuring website content (copy and visual) is maximised for effective search metrics and tailored for the target audience. Constantly checking search terms, rankings, and analytics to monitor performance of websites and make recommendations for improvements. Employing user experience (UX) and conversion rate optimisation methods to turn visitors into more active users and help improve website performance. Ensuring third party platforms feature relevant content with best use of links. Growing website hits, dwell time and conversion rates. Continually striving to build website performance and monitor the algorithms set by the search engines to keep up to date with changes.. Digital and Social Media Marketing / Advertising: Developing and implementing digital marketing strategies including SEO, SEM and PPC (in association with Accor/Raffles teams where relevant) Overseeing digital and social media advertising and marketing opportunities in association with the Raffles Brand Team and the London (local) hub at Accor. Managing our social media agency team with strategic suggestions, content management and eventually taking over the social media strategy in full, alongside implementation of all posts (visuals, copy, use of hashtags etc) Note: Platforms currently include Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn. We will investigate Pinterest, Twitter, and YouTube in the future. Creating social and digital advertising campaigns that support commercial objectives. Support, where required, with paid influencer activations. Email Marketing/CRM: Creating regular email campaigns that drive direct and online bookings in association with the Raffles Brand Team and the London (local) hub at Accor. Building on the success of email campaigns to grow the customer database and build loyalty. Ensuring customer information is captured and seamlessly fed into the hotel’s CRM system by working closely with the London (local) hub at Accor. Reporting/ROI Providing regular analysis of results and reports to demonstrate growth, customer acquisition, customer engagement, and return on investment. Create and monitor digital marketing budgets in tandem with direct report. General Providing intelligence on trending activity on consumer online behaviour to inform the development of our social media and digital profile. Collaborate with sales and communications/media teams to improve marketing results and identify innovate growth strategies. Collaborate with our internal stakeholders to ensure their digital marketing needs are being met (F&B, Spa and Wellness, Rooms and Suites) Additional responsibilities in absence of line manager or senior employee. Performs other duties as required or assigned including working in a different department or restaurant, than usually assigned.
