Your new role
We are seeking a skilled Drainage Engineer with strong design experience to join our client. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing drainage systems for a variety of projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop drainage systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
2. Conduct site assessments and surveys to determine drainage requirements.
3. Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and reports.
4. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure seamless project integration.
5. Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
6. Ensure all designs comply with relevant regulations and standards.
7. Participate in project meetings and provide updates on design progress.
What you'll need to succeed
As a Drainage Engineer, our client is seeking a candidate with the following qualifications:
1. Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural engineering
2. 3 years experience in UK & Irish construction market
3. A member of an appropriate professional institution
4. Chartered or approaching Chartered Engineer status
5. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microstation, etc.
6. Strong understanding of drainage principles, regulations, and best practices
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
8. Strong communication and teamwork abilities
