Roles and Responsibilities
As an Optical Engineer at AllFocal Optics, you will:
* Design and optimize novel optical systems for diverse projects.
* Conduct experimental implementation and testing of new optical designs.
* Collaborate closely with colleagues, industry partners, suppliers, and customers to drive innovation.
* Contribute to intellectual property development, including participating in patent writing.
Minimum Qualifications
* Experience with developing free-space optics experiments.
* Strong knowledge of geometrical and ray optics.
* Bachelor’s degree in Optical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in head-mounted displays (HMDs) or head-up displays (HUDs).
* Experience with optical design tools such as Ansys Speos, Ansys Lumerical, Ansys Zemax or similar software.
* Demonstrated presentation skills.
* Master’s or Ph.D. in Optical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
