Job Title: Disruption Investigation Officer (15708)

Contract: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
Team Overview:
Over the past 25 years, we've changed the way people travel across Europe, offering easy and affordable options with a fleet of 330+ aircraft, serving over 70 million passengers annually across 800 routes. The litigation teams are responsible for supporting the management, coordination, and processing of disruption information to enable legal claims to be successfully challenged. Reporting through to the legal claims team leader, the DIO will analyze disruption events and ensure quality evidence is obtained and retained.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage, coordinate, and process disruption information to support easyJet's legal claims process.
2. Analyze disruption events and obtain quality evidence for investigations.
3. Review incidents to determine appropriate information capture, gather details on root causes, measures taken, and customer welfare provisions.
4. Create coherent pictures of operational matters during disruptions to understand recovery efforts and impacts.
5. Prepare evidence packs and trial bundles for legal representatives.
6. Maintain disruption databases and improve evidence collection.
7. Represent easyJet as an expert witness in courts.
8. Work cross-functionally to deliver excellent service during challenging situations.
Requirements:
We seek candidates with aviation experience who can leverage knowledge of legal/regulatory requirements to collect quality data and build strong relationships. You must be highly organized, detailed, efficient, numerate, and comfortable with large workloads and using Excel, PowerPoint, and other systems to understand complex airline disruptions. Proficiency in other European languages is ideal.

This role is primarily based in Luton with hybrid working, requiring 3 days in the office.
