Technical Coordinator
A national house builder have a requirement for a Technical Co-ordinator to join their busy Technical Department based out of their regional office in Shropshire.
Technical coordinator role
You will be an integral part of the Technical team overseeing external Design and Engineering Consultants involved in the project management and administration of all technical and design matters for various residential projects in the region. This role will be to support multiple housing developments through the delivery of cost-effective engineering solutions and provide a service to all other departments within the business. The successful candidate must be adaptable, have a strong and consistent management approach to managing external consultants.
Duties and responsibilities:
1. Assist in the production of layouts and technical reports for Land Appraisals; and have an understanding of working drawings.
2. Brief and commission site investigations, topographical survey and other assessment reports on land acquired
3. Brief engineering and architectural consultants on scope of design, which includes roads sewers private drainage, retaining walls, foundation designs any other substructures below DPC level either private or adopted
