We currently have a great opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join our Change and Transformation team. We're looking for a dedicated professional to bring our values to life and ensure our customers receive outstanding services.
The Role
Our Change and Transformation professionals play an essential role in delivering the transformational change needed to achieve the future shape of Housing Plus Group. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Project Delivery team as we continue to grow and expand our project delivery capabilities. This role will support both the programme and multiple projects across HPG's group change and transformation programme.
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for leading teams to deliver complex programmes and projects that span across multiple business units as well as I.T. You will be expected to manage resources, schedules, financials and adhere to stage gate quality and SDLC control guidelines throughout the full systems development life cycle. This also includes management of issues, risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. Contribute to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery. The successful candidate will work directly with the Head of Change and Transformation to ensure that the project management team is functioning at the optimal level and suggest any improvements required.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business and technology organisations.
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
Experience in Governance & SDLC Methodologies, Agile, SCRUM, SDLC / Waterfall
Technically competent with various software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), Microsoft Projects, ServiceNow, Smartsheet and Lucid Chart
Experience leading, motivating and managing various project and program team sizes, including internal and external resources, while holding team accountable for performance
Excellent communication skills at all levels
Demonstratable commitment to satisfying customers through delivery of projects and programmes. Must consider all customer requirements in every piece of work they undertake.
Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge/understanding of one or more of the following functions: reporting, planning, risks & issues, governance & assurance, project management, implementation management, project administration support
Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience (desirable)
Significant project management experience, including tracking and planning projects
Significant experience with full product lifecycle with understanding of development lifecycle and various technology methodologies that support that lifecycle
