Empowering Learning are recruiting for an EYFS Lead to work in a primary school in the Oldbury area. The school is a 2-form entry primary school and are looking to take someone on in a temp to perm role and effectively run a strong and close EYFS team.
The school are looking for experienced EYFS teachers to apply for this role but encourage strong ECTs to apply as well.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that engage, challenge, and inspire pupils in Early years aligned with the National Curriculum.
2. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued, supported, and motivated to achieve their full potential.
3. Utilize assessment data to track pupil progress, provide targeted support, and ensure all learners make excellent academic and personal development.
4. Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders to support the holistic development of pupils.
5. Be able to run an EYFS Team effectively and produce results.
Requirements:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching in EYFS.
2. A thorough understanding of the EYFS curriculum and effective teaching methodologies to meet the diverse needs of learners.
3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
4. A passion for teaching and learning, with a commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
Additional Information:
This position is a full-time role, commencing in November 2024 on a Temp to perm basis. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. Opportunities for continued professional development and career progression within our supportive school environment. Daily rate ranging from £170-£220 per day.
