We now have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, customer focussed individual to join our membership team as a Senior Account Executive.
Job Description:
POST: Senior Account Executive (Maternity Cover)
REPORTING TO: Head of Membership
GRADE: £30,070.00 - £32,476.00
CONTRACT DURATION: This role is for maternity cover from 24/01/2025 – 21/11/2025
LOCATION: Worcester
WORKING HOURS: Full Time – 37 hours per week (however, part-time hours will be considered). A range of flexible working opportunities can be discussed upon application.
Main Responsibilities:
1. To take full responsibility for the client management and retention of a portfolio of members. To build positive relationships with Chamber members and a better understanding of benefits and Chamber services available to them.
2. To monitor both internal and external follow up actions resulting from new member recruitment and larger business meetings.
3. To manage all 50+ businesses with increased engagement and organise meetings for the Head of Membership with 101+ businesses.
4. To take full responsibility of the Chamber membership experience from raising awareness of support through to resignation requests.
5. To identify and refer high quality leads to recruit new members.
6. To develop and use a variety of social media to promote the Chambers membership offer using relevant marketing content. To contribute to the achievement of increasing followers on all social media channels.
7. To be responsible for the effective use of the Chamber CRM system to maintain relevant and up to date information.
8. To actively identify sponsorship and other commercial opportunities for the Chamber throughout the larger business memberships and to proactively secure these opportunities.
9. To be responsible for the checking, reporting and actions of Account Executives regarding debtors to ensure that debt and risk is kept to a minimum.
10. To lead Account Executives regarding best practice and continued improvement.
11. To provide support and regular updates to the Head of Membership.
Ideal Candidate:
1. Significant experience of developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
2. Significant experience of using a variety of social media.
3. Excellent organisation, presentation, and communication skills.
4. Commercially focussed with strong influencing skills.
5. Professional credibility with high levels of personal motivation.
6. Ability to communicate confidently at all levels (verbally and in writing) externally and internally.
7. Drive, initiative and enthusiasm.
8. Results driven.
Mobility:
Ideally, a car owner with full driving licence.
