Project Engineer - Pharma / Chemical / Sustainability / EFW / Energy Transition

What you will enjoy doing
1. Manage projects that enable innovative supply solutions across the business including industrial gas solutions, hydrogen supply, decarbonisation & gas to future clean energy providers.
2. Provide engineering support to sales to help win and deliver new projects.
3. Ensure that project design/costs are competitive and solutions are practicable.
4. Manage project timescales.
5. Ensure that plant, equipment and systems comply with the requirements of statutory requirements and company standards, in conjunction with leading industry experts.
6. Provide technical expertise in the preparation of standards to enable project management and improvement.
7. Lead teams of multi-discipline engineers in preparing and designing solutions to complex process problems.
8. Review detailed drawings of equipment and systems and equipment specifications.
9. Prepare project documentation.
10. Participate in the selection of equipment suppliers and contractors.
11. Deliver classroom-based training (theoretical and practical) to plant operational and maintenance staff in normal system operation and diagnosis.
What makes you great
1. Experience working in technical roles in a process industry.
2. Practical experience in an industrial environment such as water, steelworks, process industry, Oil & Gas.
3. Chartered Mechanical or Process Engineer or close to applying for Chartered status - mentoring support will be provided.
4. Degree qualified in Mechanical, Chemical or Process Engineering discipline.
5. Project Management skills, APM PMQ can be provided.
6. Health and Safety Legislation knowledge, NEBOSH Diploma can be provided.
7. Demonstrated drive to deliver and continuously improve.
8. Knowledge of the appropriate Legislative and Regulatory requirements associated with pressure systems, operational process plants and site construction.
9. Effective prioritisation during periods of competing demands.
10. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
11. Knowledge of industry standards.
