Junior Product Owner
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Product Owner to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to collaborate with Senior Product Owners and development teams to deliver high-quality products that meet customer and business needs. Key Responsibilities
1. Support Product Development
o Assist the Product Owner in managing and prioritizing the product backlog.
o Refine user stories and align them with strategic goals.
o Write detailed and actionable user stories, including acceptance criteria.
o Ensure the development team comprehends the product vision and requirements.
o Act as a bridge between stakeholders and the development team.
o Collaborate with the team to clarify product needs and resolve uncertainties.
o Gather and analyze feedback from stakeholders, users, and internal teams.
o Actively participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
2. Product Documentation
o Maintain up-to-date documentation, including roadmaps and feature specifications.
o Track and report on key product performance metrics.
3. Testing & Quality Assurance
o Support user acceptance testing (UAT) to confirm that deliverables meet requirements.
o Identify, document, and report issues or bugs to ensure quality.
o Suggest product and process enhancements to increase efficiency and value.
o Keep informed of industry trends, innovations, and competitor activities.
Skills and Qualifications
* Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related fields.
* Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes.
* Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
* Soft Skills: Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
* Problem Solving: Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail.
* Experience: Prior experience in product management, business analysis, or related fields (a plus).
* Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence.
