Your Role
As anIT Support Technician, you will be the first point of contact for NHS staff, providingessential first-line IT supportboth remotely and face-to-face. Your responsibilities will includetroubleshootingissues related to desktops, networks, servers, and mobile devices while ensuringexcellent customer servicevia the IT Service Desk. You will work acrossmultiple sites, including Preston and Chorley, and be part of anout-of-hours on-call rota, helping to maintain seamless IT operations within the Trust.

Provide quality IT support
Management and development of the Trust’s IT Services and systems
Troubleshooting problems and supporting the End User Compute and Voice estate
Network support (wired and wireless)
Storage environments
Active Directory management and remediation
VMware and Cloud environment support
Microsoft client and server products
Server/client hardware and IT security
Implement and develop processes across the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line teams to improve workflow and knowledge management
