What You’ll Be Doing You’ll play a key role in the delivery of building services design projects from concept through to completion. You’ll be client-facing, technically hands-on, and supported by a collaborative team of professionals who genuinely enjoy what they do. Your day-to-day will include: Developing detailed electrical designs and tender packages Preparing specifications, reports, cost plans, and technical documentation Coordinating with clients, contractors, and other design teams Leading or contributing to projects through all RIBA stages Supporting fee proposals, resource planning, and project programming Providing mentorship to junior engineers and sharing technical knowledge Staying up to date with regulations, design standards, and best practices What We’re Looking For We’re keen to speak with individuals who have: A background in Electrical Building Services Design (HND/Degree qualified) Experience across multiple sectors, ideally including healthcare, education, and commercial Knowledge of key industry software and design standards Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills CIBSE membership or working toward it (preferred) A proactive, solution-focused mindset The Culture & Perks This consultancy is known for its friendly, supportive team and down-to-earth management style.
