Position Overview
As a Key Account Manager, you will oversee a select portfolio of around 30 key accounts across your designated territory. Your primary mission will be to nurture existing relationships and spearhead new business development within the General Industry sector.
Acting as a trusted advisor, you will bridge the gap between customers’ technical needs and the company’s innovative solutions, ensuring mutual success through strategic account management and data-driven prospecting.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategic Account Planning: Design and execute comprehensive Key Account Plans that align with both customer objectives and the company’s technical and business strategies.
* Technical Solutions Alignment: Conduct in-depth analyses of customer requirements, mapping complex challenges to the company’s automation and tooling solutions for maximum impact and profitability.
* Relationship Management: Establish and maintain robust relationships with technical and business stakeholders, ensuring trust and long-term collaboration.
* New Business Development: Identify opportunities to introduce advanced automation solutions and expand market presence in untapped sectors.
* Project Coordination: Collaborate closely with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Project Delivery Teams to ensure seamless execution of technically demanding projects.
* Revenue and Cost Management: Monitor account performance to optimize revenue streams and ensure sustainable, profitable growth.
* Performance Analytics: Regularly review account performance metrics, providing technical insights and strategy adjustments to meet and exceed objectives.
Required Skills & Experience
* Key Account Management: Proven track record in managing complex B2B relationships, ideally within automation or industrial tooling sectors.
* Technical Sales Expertise: Strong background in solutions-based and product-based sales, with experience in automation, cobots, or industrial robotics.
* Industry Knowledge: Proficiency in torque and fastening applications, assembly systems, and related automation technologies.
* Advanced Manufacturing Insight: Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Poka Yoke, and Industry 4.0 concepts.
* Strategic Planning: Experience developing and implementing data-driven account management strategies.
