Rullion are looking to recruit for the following role for one of our global leading energy clients:
Document Controller
Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK
Rate: £14 per hour Inside IR35
Start Date: February 2025
Duration: 12 months initially - ongoing
Hybrid Role once up and running.
Job Description
You will be responsible for managing the project contract deliverables by use of the document management tool, throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Involvement with multi-projects
2. Management of project deliverables using the associated systems, including:
1. Allocating document numbers
2. Creating placeholders
3. Setting up supplier packages
4. QA checks on deliverables
5. Managing review workflows in line with project timescales
6. Distributing workflow comments - Client - Suppliers - Internal
7. Hard copy submissions to site
8. Submission of As-builds
3. Interact with the wider project team
4. Support the Document Control team
5. Contribute to continuous improvements
6. Communicate with external stakeholders
7. Be a team player
Technical Competencies:
Systems: Microsoft Office, ACC, Aconex, EDMS, SharePoint
Communication and reporting skills
Skills for this Role:
Mandatory:
1. 2+ years document control project experience
2. 2+ years document management systems experience
3. Quality aware
4. Eligible to work in the UK
5. Location based
Desirable:
1. Document / Configuration Control training
Optional:
1. Engineering or Project Management Degree or equivalent qualification
2. Good communication skills, written and verbal
3. Driving License
