About the Role Are you a dedicated and motivated doctor looking to make a meaningful impact in palliative medicine? We are seeking a Specialty Doctor in Palliative Care to join our team and help provide exceptional, person-centred care to all our patients. As a Specialty Doctor, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality medical care across our Inpatient Unit, Day Services, and Community settings. You will work closely with our Consultants in Palliative Medicine, nursing teams, and wider multidisciplinary team (MDT) to ensure compassionate, holistic care for our patients and those important to them. The on-call commitment is 1 in 7 with 1 in 6 weekends, this can be non-residential Pay dependant on experience in line with the Pay and Conditions Circular (M&D) 4/2024 Key Responsibilities Deliver high quality, patient centred care with compassion and respect Undertake comprehensive assessment, planning delivery, and evaluation of medical care for patients ensuring an evidence-based approach. Demonstrate advanced communication skills, providing sensitive and empathetic support to patients and their families Support safe and effective discharge planning, coordinating with community services to maintain continuity of care.
