We are seeking a proactive and experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join our dynamic team and ensure a safe and compliant working environment. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining health and safety policies, conducting risk assessments, and providing expert guidance to teams across the organisation. Key Responsibilities
1. Health and Safety Compliance:
* Ensure all company operations comply with current health, safety, and environmental legislation.
* Maintain and review health and safety policies, procedures, and risk assessments in line with legal requirements and industry best practices.
* Support the SLT with the ongoing review and development of policies and the HSMS.
* Assist management and project teams with the preparation and submission of safety documentation, including Construction Phase Plans (CPPs) and Method Statements (RAMS).
2. Site Audits and Inspections:
* Conduct regular planned monitoring (audits/inspections) to identify risks, compliance non-compliances, and areas for improvement.
* Prepare detailed reports with recommendations and follow up on actions to ensure completion.
