They are looking to recruit an experienced Assistant Financial Controller, and you will be joining an extremely collaborative culture where you can genuinely put your stamp on this role. Working closely with their highly engaging and supportive Financial Controller, you will be working closely with departments across the business and will also be working closely with the Senior Leadership Team. This role will suit someone who has strong communication skills and the ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders as well as having a 'hands-on’ mentality. The successful applicant will take responsibility for a broad range of financial and management accounting activities, including journals, reconciliations, balance sheet control, cash flow management, assisting with month end accounting, banking, as well as assisting with some transactional work. You will need to have strong excel skills and be able to make recommendations and enhancements to current processes and systems. Working knowledge of Sage would be highly advantageous.
