Studio Engineer responsible for taking designs to the next stage, collaborating with global Engineering teams to problem solve and build future vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting the Creative Advanced Design team with engineering studies and feasibility solutions
* Translating engineering requirements into design possibilities and transferring key legislative requirements
* Managing and documenting agreements between design and engineering
* Communicating design intent and needs within engineering and understanding technical input and limitations
* Documenting feasibility of design themes and raising critical issues
* Arbitrating and documenting agreements between engineering and design
Requirements:
* Complete vehicle engineering knowledge, including overall vehicle requirements and Catia studies
* Architecture engineering skills and experience with Catia, Teamcenter, A2MAC, and Jira
* Understanding of vehicle development process and technical university degree or equivalent
* Extensive experience in automotive product concept and component engineering in aesthetic sensitive areas
* Knowledge of component manufacturing, tooling requirements, and lead times
* Highly effective and productive individual with excellent communication skills
Contract Details:
* Permanent or long term contract outside IR35
* Salary: £75,000 - £82,000 per annum
* Contract rate: £45 per hour
