Supports the planning function on allocated project and contribute where required. Contributes within allocated portfolios, effectively planned, scheduled and monitored. Supports the effective project management and delivery of our projects, ensuring delivered on time and profitably. Responsible for the planning of medium complexity projects, a portfolio of smaller projects or sections of larger projects
You'll be responsible for:
* Contributes to plans taking full cognisance of logistics/site project constraints.
* Interfaces constructively with project team.
* Contributes to the production of the weekly progress report to the project team.
* Understand functional obligations under form of contract.
* Reviews and captures productivity to measure progress
* Communicates effectively with the client and stakeholders.
* Support sustainable design and procurement process within integrated programmes.
* Supports health and safety through programme integration.
* Establishes and oversees project work plan and deadlines.
* Undertakes tasks required to full fill the requirements of the project/assignment.
* Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.
You'll need to have:
* General knowledge of schedule management tools & software.
* Exposure to the built environment and with projects.
* Basic understanding of different procurement routes and types and forms of contract.
* Strong communication & presentation skills with the project team on programme drivers, goals & issues, etc.
* Effective time management skills.
* Working towards chartered registered member of a relevant institution accreditation from recognised industry body (e.g. APM, RICS, CIOB, ICE, AACE, IRM, IEMA) (or equivalent).
* Relevant CSCS card.
You'll also have:
* Attention to detail & able to validate & check schedule management inputs, recording & reports produced, providing basic commentary & analysis.
* General contract awareness.
* Confidence in decision making skills.
* Developing internal connections.
* Other relevant qualifications specific to local requirements.
