Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant
Are you a psychology graduate looking for SEN experience in a primary school setting?
This school is a progressive and inclusive primary school located in the heart of Wolverhampton. Committed to providing a nurturing environment for our students, we take pride in offering tailored support to children with special educational needs (SEN) to help them flourish academically and personally. You’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children with SEN.
Details:
1. Salary: £80 - £90 per day
2. Start Date: September until July 2025
3. ‘Outstanding’ Wolverhampton primary school
4. 1:1 and small group intervention sessions
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide one-on-one and small group support to children with special educational needs.
2. Adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs and learning styles of each student.
3. Collaborate with the SENCO and class teachers to develop and implement tailored interventions and support plans.
4. Assist in monitoring and recording the progress of SEN students.
5. Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
6. Implement behaviour management strategies in collaboration with the class teacher.
7. Support the planning and delivery of engaging lessons and activities.
Requirements:
1. A degree in Psychology or a related field.
2. Passion for working with children and a commitment to inclusive education.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
