Buckshaw Retirement Village is currently looking for people who are passionate & enthusiastic about providing high-quality care to join our growing team at The Lodge, based within the beautiful Buckshaw Village, Chorley, Lancaster.
The company is unable to sponsor the employment of international workers in this role. You will be required to provide evidence of your right to work in the UK.
Pay & Hours:
* Rate of pay: £11.50 per hour
* Hours per week: 22.5 hours
* Shift Pattern – Working to a rota covering 7 days per week (every other weekend)
The Role:
As a Wellbeing Assistant at The Lodge, you will provide a range of activities, identifying service users’ individual needs. This will include developing and implementing weekly activity plans and planning group activities for residents who may have physical needs or dementia care needs.
Ensuring dignity and respect are maintained at all times, you will be a professional and enthusiastic individual with a caring and supportive attitude. You will also be required to fundraise and work with outside agencies/community.
