Your day at NTT DATA The Hardware Asset Manager has solid administrative experience, responsible for providing general coordination activities to the Cloud Services Division Asset Management and Operations teams. The primary function of this role is to manage asset data records globally (ensuring users are properly updating information in NTT systems) and tracking/reporting things such as End of Life announcements and upcoming expiration of support maintenance contracts. This role may be required to provide guidance to entry level employees regarding work process. What you'll be doing Key Responsibilities: Constantly reviews of asset data records via reporting to identify and remediate inconsistent data Tracks support maintenance contract dates and raises awareness with proper stakeholders when devices are coming up on expiration Tracks of End of Life announcements for NTT assets and raises awareness with proper stakeholders Provides a complete asset and sparing coordination and support the activities relating to the function. Assists with stock planning processes, order administration and distribution, basic system support, filing and general administrative tasks. Coordinates the resolution of stock related queries and when required, escalate these to the Service Asset Lifecycle Manager. Works on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative. Acts as an informal team leader as and when required. Performs any other related task as required. Knowledge and Attributes: Reliable with the ability to produce a high quality of work. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Display meticulous attention to details and able to manage work processes. Excellent orientation towards ensuring client satisfaction and service delivery. Productive with good analytical, planning and organizing abilities. Resourceful with excellent problem-solving ability. Displays good team leadership abilities. Academic Qualifications and Certifications: Secondary school certification or equivalent qualification. Working towards completion of a relevant degree in Procurement/Supply Chain or equivalent is desirable. Required Experience: Solid experience gained within a technology services environment.
