Our Subsea Connectors Business in Ulverston is looking for a Coordinator to join our Order Engagement Team.
We're a world leader in designing and manufacturing Subsea electrical and fibre optic connectors used in the Oil & Gas and Renewables sectors. Our innovative facility in Ulverston situated 10 minutes from the Lake District offers an idyllic working environment, with remote working options also available based on the business need. You will work closely with both internal and external partners to efficiently deliver our connector orders through the plant and to our customers with a strong focus on quality and timely delivery.
How You'll Make an Impact
* Responsible for the handling and loading of customer orders once received into the business.
* Undertake day-to-day commercial operations and communication with customers and internal stakeholders across the business.
* Working with the Order Delivery Team to ensure quality handover of work scopes as they enter the production phase.
* Assist in handling and maintaining relationships with allocated customers.
* Ensuring customer complaints & concessions are closed out in a timely & professional manner.
* Providing customers with regular detailed order update reports.
* Responsible take action to ensure orders stay on track in terms of on time delivery and quality.
* Undertake visits to customer sites and host visits as and when required.
What You Bring
* Whilst no formal higher education is required, a qualification at college or University in a business subject is desirable but not crucial.
* A strong desire to learn and develop skills and knowledge of the business, its products, and its application within the industry.
* Attention to detail and a strong customer focus whilst working in a fast-paced environment is a must.
* Once trained, the ability to work independently handling work scopes with minimal direction.
* Previous experience in a sales/customer service setting is desirable.
* Knowledge and understanding of both ERP and PLM systems (SAP & Team Centre) is also desirable but not crucial.
