A popular school located in Halstead is interested in securing an Art teacher to join their team. This Ofsted Good, mixed secondary school is seeking a teacher of Art on a part-time basis. The school is in Halstead, which is within walking distance to a range of transport links, shops, and amenities.
ABOUT THE SCHOOL AND THE TEACHER ROLE:
* A medium-sized secondary school
* Assist the Head of Department in ensuring high-quality teaching in your subject and contribute to the department's improvement plan.
* Participate in staff development activities provided within the department and whole school.
* Deliver, as directed, syllabuses, resources, schemes of work, assessment and marking policies, and teaching strategies to meet student needs.
* Report student progress in your subject to the Head of Department and to parents/carers.
FOR THE RIGHT Art TEACHER WILL BE:
* Confident with teaching Art to A level standard
* Creative, patient, and willing to think outside of the box
* Degree related to Art
* Teaching qualification
* Eligibility to work in the UK
* Ability to provide teaching references for the last 2 years
* A fully enhanced DBS on the online update service
