Job Description\n\nPayroll Administrator - 12 month fixed term contract\n\nFull time – 37.5 hours per week\n\nLocation: Bedford \n\nThe Payroll Administrator will support both the Head of Payroll and your Payroll Team members to deliver both monthly and weekly pay cycles and provide an accurate and efficient service to our employees and the wider business. You will be an integral part of the team to deliver accurate and on time pay to the Ramsay UK Bank and Contracted Workforce.\n\nWhat you will do:\n\nSupport colleagues and Line Managers to process an accurate and efficient service to our employees and the wider business\n\nWork with wider Corporate Teams (Workday/Recruitment/Onboarding/HR) to ensure accurate and timely on, and off boarding of starters, movers and leavers in the business\n\nSupport with HMRC NMW enquiries\n\nSupport with Auto-enrolment processing\n\nUnderstand the rostering system as a source of payroll data feed.\n\nAssist with complex troubleshooting and resolving queries around payment, tax, pension etc\n\nData Security, HMRC, GDPR, Pension Compliance\n\nWhat you will need:\n\nEssential:\n\nProven experience in delivering high volume, hands on, end to end payroll in a large organisation\n\nExcellent working knowledge of HMRC compliance, RTI, Statutory payments, NLW, GDPR and pension auto-enrolment\n\nDesirable:\n\nWorkday payroll\n\nHealthcare experience\n\nEssential Education and Capabilities:\n\nEssential written and spoken communication skills\n\nPractical knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook\n\nThe ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines\n\nFlexible and adaptable, open to change\n\nExcellent Customer service skills\n\nStrong attention to detail \n\nPreferred Education and Capabilities:\n\nA relevant payroll qualification would be advantageous but is not essential \n\nBenefits:\n\n25 Days Leave + Bank Holidays\n\nBuy & Sell Flexi Leave Options\n\nPrivate Pension where Ramsay will match up to 5% after a qualifying period\n\nEnhanced Competitive Parental Leave Policies\n\nPrivate Medical Cover with option to add partner & dependants\n\nLife Assurance (Death in Service) x3 base salary\n\nFree Training and Development via the Ramsay Academy\n\nFree Parking on site (where possible)\n\nConcerts for Carers\n\nEmployee Assistance Programme\n\nCycle2Work scheme available, in partnership with Halfords\n\nThe Blue Light Card Scheme \n\nAbout us:\n\nRamsay Health Care UK is a well-established global hospital group with over 50 years’ experience.
