As Project Manager (PM) you'll be responsible for leading and delivering high-profile real estate and property development projects. Managing project lifecycles from inception to completion, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timeline. This role demands strategic oversight, leadership, and proactive client and stakeholder engagement to uphold Land Sterling’s commitment to excellence and innovation. The PM will manage project schedules, budgets, and documentation while maintaining a strong focus on quality, compliance, and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Project Coordination:
* Oversee and manage the execution of PMC services for complex real estate and property development projects.
* Establish project objectives, define deliverables through the project execution plan, and align stakeholder expectations.
* Lead multidisciplinary teams, ensuring collaboration and accountability across all project phases.
Documentation and Reporting:
* Maintain project documentation, including RFPs, proposals, contracts, and meeting records.
* Prepare and update project progress reports, highlighting key milestones, risks, and accomplishments.
* Develop project dashboards and presentations tailored to client needs.
Cost and Budget Oversight:
* Track project expenses and ensure alignment with the approved budget.
* Preparation of cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and financial summaries.
* Review contractor invoices and consultant submissions for accuracy.
* Establish and control project budgets, ensuring financial discipline.
* Prepare comprehensive cost analyses, cash flow projections, and financial reports for client and executive review.
* Negotiate and manage contract terms to ensure financial and operational efficiency.
Risk and Quality Management:
* Identify, evaluate, and mitigate project risks, maintaining a robust risk management framework.
* Implement quality control measures to ensure compliance with Land Sterling standards and client requirements.
* Monitor project performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
Contract Administration:
* Managing project contracts, ensuring adherence to terms and conditions.
* Monitor and verify contractual deliverables, change orders, and claims.
* Administer project contracts, ensuring compliance with agreed-upon terms, timelines, and deliverables.
* Oversee change management processes, including variation orders, claims, and dispute resolution.
* Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of project documentation, including RFPs, contracts, reports, and presentations.
Client Engagement:
* Act as a point of contact for clients, addressing queries and providing updates on project progress.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to promote Land Sterling’s core values of trust and excellence.
Team Collaboration:
* Work closely with Land Sterling’s project management and advisory teams to resolve technical and operational challenges.
* Contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives within the organization to promote best practices.
* Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
* Share industry insights and best practices to contribute to the growth and expertise of Land Sterling’s project management team.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
* A Master’s degree in Project Management, Real Estate Development, or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
* PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
* LEED Accreditation or similar sustainability-focused certification is an advantage.
* A minimum of 8-10 years of proven experience in project management, with a focus on real estate, property development, or large-scale construction projects.
* Demonstrated success in managing high-profile, complex projects from inception to completion.
* Expertise in Autodesk Construction Cloud or similar construction project management platforms.
* Experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and stakeholder collaboration.
