Registered General Nurse – Borehamwood, Hertfordshire
Location: Meadowhill Care Home, Castleford Close, Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, WD6 4AL
Salary: £18.00 to £22.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: 39 hours per week, 8am to 8pm or 8pm to 8am

As a Registered Nurse, you will ensure our residents receive the highest standard of clinical care, tailored to their individual needs. Working within a new team, you’ll help establish best practices and foster a culture of excellence in our care home.

About the role:
* Deliver high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met
* Develop and implement personalised care plans in collaboration with residents, families and the wider care team
* Administer medications and treatments in accordance with healthcare regulations
* Support the Home Manager to effectively implement policies and procedures and ensure they are upheld at all times
* Ensure that the residents have access to key medical, social and other care workers as required
* Have full knowledge of and take responsibility to ensure adherence to infection control policies and procedures of the Department of Health and the company at all times
* Work in line with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) guidelines, NMC code of conduct and relevant legislation at all times
About you:
* Valid and current NMC registration and PIN
* Previous experience in elderly care is essential to be considered
* Strong clinical skills and a commitment to delivering person-centred care
* Excellent communication, leadership and teamwork abilities
* A positive attitude and the ability to adapt in a new and growing environment
