Joining a busy Events team, you will be working on a variety of events from small to large. You will be involved in all aspects of event planning and logistics, gaining a wide variety of experience that will lead to assisting in project managing events and working within different areas of the Events Team.
Key Responsibilities of an Events Coordinator
* Assisting the Event Team in the production of all events
* Being prepared to negotiate and communicate with suppliers
* Working when required to ensure stock records are accurately kept at all times, and purchasing stock when required
* Maintain and develop a contacts database of contractors and suppliers
* Communicating with all those involved in the events on a regular basis
* Assisting with hotel and travel bookings
Key Competencies of an Events Coordinator
* Strong communication skills both verbal and written
* 1-2 years’ experience of working within the events industry, including stock management
* Great attention to detail at all times
* Organised and creative
* Can-do attitude, analytical and problem-solving skills
* Self-motivated with the ability to use initiative and manage workload with minimal supervision
* The ability to be flexible and adaptable while working under pressure, also outside of normal office hours
