The role
We are looking for someone to join our team and own the bookkeeping in Footprint Digital. We are bringing this role in house for the first time, and we’re looking for someone to embed themselves and their expertise into the way we work, helping us grow beyond our wildest dreams.
Essential skills:
* Proficient in using accounting software, particularly Xero and similar tools, for efficient and accurate financial data management and accounting tasks
* Strong collaboration skills to ensure accurate financial reporting
* The ability to analyse financial data and extract insights
* Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ensuring secure handling of all financial information in compliance with data protection regulations
* Maintaining financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments
* Working on Xero and similar software for accounting tasks
* Analysing financial trends, variations, and forecasts and collaborating closely with management to provide accurate financial reports
* Assisting in budgeting and financial planning
* Accounts receivable (and credit control), following up on invoices that the sales team send to clients and following existing processes to get these paid
* Conducting payroll using Xero
* End-of-year reporting, assisting with annual profit and loss and balance sheet reports
* Ensuring confidentiality and secure handling of all financial information
* Continue your own professional development and regular company wide training sessions to inspire you to do the best work of your career
