Job Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic, passionate and creative Brand Manager to join our marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the direction of our brand across a variety of sports sectors, brand, licenses and more, ensuring that our values and identity resonate with athletes, coaches, and sports fans.
As Brand Manager, you will play a key role in defining and executing our brand strategy, while maintaining consistency in messaging and design across all sports categories. You will also be instrumental in driving our Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, using compelling storytelling to inspire both internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Brand Strategy & Development:
1. Lead the development and execution of Kitlocker’s brand strategy, ensuring consistency and alignment across all sports categories.
2. Work closely with senior leadership to refine and evolve the brand’s positioning in the market.
3. Maintain and develop brand guidelines, ensuring that all marketing materials, product designs, and campaigns reflect the Kitlocker brand identity.
2. Brand Direction Across Sports:
1. Ensure that the brand vision and values are adhered to across the different sports we operate in, from football to cricket to rugby and beyond.
2. Collaborate with sport-specific teams to tailor brand strategies that speak directly to each segment while maintaining a unified brand voice.
3. Monitor brand perception within each sports category and make recommendations for adjustments based on market trends and customer feedback.
3. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR):
1. Drive and communicate Kitlocker’s CSR strategy, aligning with our commitment to sustainability, community engagement, and ethical business practices.
2. Create impactful and engaging content that tells the story of Kitlocker’s CSR efforts, promoting our social responsibility initiatives both internally and externally.
3. Work with marketing and communications teams to integrate CSR initiatives into campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall brand messaging.
4. Cross-functional Collaboration:
1. Collaborate with product development, marketing, and sales teams to ensure that the brand is consistently represented across all touchpoints, including digital, retail, and events.
2. Provide guidance and training to teams across the business to ensure they understand and communicate the brand in a consistent way.
5. Brand Measurement & Performance:
1. Track brand performance across all sports segments, analyzing key metrics to ensure growth and engagement.
2. Use data-driven insights to inform brand decisions and continuously optimize brand campaigns and activities.
6. Storytelling & Content Creation:
1. Develop and oversee the creation of engaging brand content that connects with our audience on a deeper level, whether through social media, web content, or print.
2. Craft compelling brand stories that highlight the impact Kitlocker is having on the sports community and inspire loyalty and advocacy.

Qualifications & Experience:
* Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or related field.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Brand Management, preferably within the sports, retail, or lifestyle industries.
* Strong understanding of brand development and positioning, particularly in a multi-sport context.
* Experience in developing and executing CSR strategies, with a passion for making a positive impact on communities and the environment.
* Proven ability to create compelling brand narratives and communicate them across a variety of platforms.
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive brand decisions.
* A passion for sports and an understanding of the sports retail/teamwear market.
