Lead Forensics
Management Accountant
Salary: £40,000
An opportunity has arisen to join a vibrant company and work within an established finance team as a management accountant. The role will primarily deal with management accounts duties for all departments of the Lead Forensics group, both for our UK and USA based entities. Attention to detail and the ability to organise yourself and liaise with various business departments is vital for this role. Excellent analytical skills are also essential to understand and explain monthly results. The role will have significant exposure to our dynamic payroll and SaaS Income recognition. A good knowledge of payroll processes and deadlines will be a significant advantage. Role would suit a part qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA looking to broaden their knowledge and understanding of the SaaS business space.
Job Description
* Management accounts for various divisions of both UK and US entities
o Month end revaluation, reconciliation and ledger closure
o Production of monthly management accounts to P&L
o Oversee and review production of monthly turnover figures, including analysis of any variances
o Production of various analyses, both monthly and ad hoc
o Assist in the creation of a management pack
o Assistance in monthly transfer pricing calculation and invoicing
o Production of monthly balance sheets, with associated balance sheet reconciliations
* Payroll
o Ownership of monthly payroll process for US and UK entities including:
+ Work closely with payroll assistant
+ Review of final payrolls, raising questions for follow up
+ Review and production of monthly commission calculations
+ Review and sign off of sales manager bonuses
* Other
o Support in annual audit process, including drawing together deliverables for the auditors
o Assist with annual budgeting process
o Assist with preparation of VAT and Corporation Tax and other tax filings
o Work with senior management accountant on various ad hoc projects and analyses
o Other work as required
