You will be receiving calls from customers and obtaining sufficient information to allocate the most cost effective and suitably qualified engineer to attend sites. At Veolia Water Technologies UK, we are committed to ensure you have the best experience possible and take your career to the next level Your responsibilities will include but not limited to: Receive and act upon customer’s telephone calls entering details into the Service Management System (SMS). Using local knowledge and information relating to engineer skill availability, allocate the appropriate engineer to ensure that customer expectations are met. Work with the Service Support Managers and Scheduling Supervisor to resolve any conflicting /issues that prevent full utilisation of engineers in the team. Advise the Service Support Managers and Scheduling Supervisor if we are unable to provide an appropriate response to a customer request or there is a delay to the request for support. Forward plan contract visits in accordance with the contract visit schedule, notifying the Service Support Manager where the contract commitment is compromised due to the lack of engineer availabilities. Confirm booking arrangements for all site visits with the customer and the appropriate engineers ensuring that all relevant information is provided. Undertake any other reasonable work related task at the request of the Service Support Managers and Administration Manager /Senior management. In addition to the above when talking to a client use the opportunity to promote the following as appropriate: New contracts/contract renewals opportunities Parts/consumables Chemicals opportunities New plant Mobile water services Associated products/service General requirements for the role: GCSE or equivalent – English and Maths. Experience of having worked in a scheduling, customer service, administrative or similar role. A background in a customer service role, passionate about providing a first class service. Able to handle challenging conversations with customers and find a resolution. Strong communication skills both verbally and written, with the versatility to communicate at all levels in a clear and concise manner. Demonstrable experience of having built strong working relationships both internally and externally. Able to work collaboratively to achieve KPI’s. A professional approach to work and communication with colleagues and customers. A good level of IT competency on Microsoft Office packages (Excel, Word) and other software applications e.g. JDE/Latis, Gmail, Google Good organisational skills with an eye for detail and the ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks What’s next?
