RWS is in the middle of a significant transformation exercise, and this is an exciting opportunity to join the RWS Group Finance Team and gain valuable experience during the establishment of increased centralised activities and improved systems. Although treasury focused, this role provides the opportunity to work closely with both the wider Group Finance Team as well as other areas of the business. Group finance, led by our Group CFO; Candy Davies, includes diverse teams across the globe operating in functions including business partnering, operational finance, specialist, and group functions. We cover a footprint of over 100 legal entities in 43 different countries worldwide. It’s a very exciting time to join RWS Finance for an individual who enjoys change and making an impact As part of the overall RWS business strategy we are making a significant investment in upgrading our financial systems and processes to deliver enhanced reporting and control, more efficient processing enabling great value through enhanced business partnering and decision support. Key Responsibilities Support the development and maintenance of the daily cash and cash flow forecast model, analysis and reporting. Support all activities related to intercompany loans, including monitoring balance changes, interest calculation and posting, and ensuring up to date documentation. Assist with the preparation of loan documentation for drawdowns and repayments and to ensure sufficient liquidity to meet operational requirements. Make payments and transfers on the relevant banking portals. Support foreign currency trades to meet Group operational requirements. Assist with key finance projects such as: Bank and bank account rationalisation. Maintenance of a central register of bank mandates and bank accounts for the Group. Repatriation of trapped cash from countries across the Group. Support for all audit and governance queries. Support in the completion of bank KYC (Know Your Customer) documentation by liaising with relevant areas of the business. Support the management of other treasury related agreements, e.g. guarantees. Assist with the continuing development of centralised process and procedures. Any other duties assigned as required in performance of this role. Skills & Experience Interested in developing their career within finance and in particular learning about the treasury activities of a large global plc. Motivated self-starter with a confidence to challenge and improve existing processes and to provide solutions to day-to-day problems. Hands-on approach with experience working in a fast-paced environment. Advanced level of Excel with experience of building and working with complex models and advanced formulae, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Index Match and SUMIFS. Previous experience of working within a finance team is desirable. Strong communication skills in English and high attention to detail is essential.
