Our client is looking for a skilled Naval Architect to join their dynamic team within the marine sector. This role centres on engineering design and analysis with special emphasis on hydrodynamics, foil design, stability, and structures. Key Responsibilities:
Lead the conceptual design development through to production for both above and below water systems.
Perform stability analysis using codes and first principles and advanced structural design focusing on composites.
Engage in machinery and equipment specification, selection, and defining manufacturing strategies. Utilise expertise in 2D and 3D CAD tools such as Siemens NX, Rhino, and AutoCAD for design and documentation.
Interpret analysis from subcontractors and interface with control system and architecture engineers to ensure optimal system integration.
Support the liaison with internal teams such as systems engineering and mechanical design as well as external communication with clients and legislative bodies.
Contribute technical inputs to the business development team and guide junior team members.
