The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day operational production on site, delivering focused manufacturing management with an emphasis on lean manufacturing and continuous improvement, ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising efficiencies in all areas on site. The ideal candidate will come from a food operations management background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be able to motivate, develop and lead teams of production/quality and engineering personnel to ensure all production is delivered on time to strict quality standards. You will need to have a full working knowledge of H&S and HACCP standards within food manufacturing. You will be the focus of all operations on site and will be dealing with all levels within this large group from shop floor to senior management and director level. This will in turn give you a fantastic opportunity to develop your own career path to a senior management role within this supportive and growing organisation.
