About The Role
2 Brand New Roles – Birmingham and Bury St Edmunds – Permanent

As a Performance Analyst you will lead the timely delivery of project and portfolio reporting that meets the ongoing needs of Strategic Infrastructure Onshore.
We have 2 brand new roles available. Role 1 will typically require visits to our Bury St Edmunds office 1-2 time per week with flexible homeworking. Role 2 will typically utilise our central Birmingham office, again with similar home office balance.
We continue to offer hybrid working from office and home and consider ourselves a true supporter of hybrid working to support personal and business needs. We are open to full time and part time applicants, as well as flexible working arrangements.
About You

* An inquisitive approach to not only see the data being presented but to understand the drivers
* Excellent knowledge and understanding of MS Excel, Power BI, and MS PowerPoint. Good understanding of SAP and Primavera
* Strong background in process or performance improvement, using data to enable informed decision making
* Experience of working with Senior Stakeholders to understand their requirements and set clear expectations
* Communicates fluently, orally and in writing, and can present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences
Additionally you may have:
* Experience of analysing complex data and data structures to provide value-adding solutions and outputs to meet business requirements
* Knowledge of the range of activities performed by a Performance Reporting team and PMO function

What You'll Do
Key Focus will include:
* Monitor the quality of project performance data, quality reporting and lead on improvement activities to improve performance reporting for a project or region.
* Lead on the coordination and facilitation of some SI onshore governance meetings e.g. Package Reviews, Project Review Meetings, Sub-Programme Reviews etc.
* Collaborate with the Project team, Support Functions, SI Performance Reporting team and Data team to ensure data being reported is accurate and timely, whilst working towards improvements ensuring the dashboards are insightful and “join the dots” between operational and financial reporting.
* Ensure complex information is easily understood and appropriate to the audience to inform decision making within the project team and providing actionable insights to the SI Management team and other senior stakeholders.
Other activities will include:
* Working with key stakeholders to scope reporting requirement, whilst working closely with the Data Engineering team throughout development and testing of new automated reports.
* Build reports and local dashboards to meet Strategic Infrastructure reporting requirements.
* Ensure the timely delivery of the monthly cascading framework within SI Onshore.
* Developing, producing and delivering regular and one-off management information to provide insights and aid decision making.
* Ensure continuous improvement by sharing lessons with the wider Performance Reporting community to enhance the service being offered.
* To ensure the integrity of project performance data by ensuring adequate governance and controls are in place for data which is required for the project and SI Leadership team.
* Develop performance insights from SI Onshore data to drive continuous improvement.
What You'll Get
A competitive starting salary between £47,000– £55,000 – dependent on capability.
