Handy Person – Llanidloes High School

This post is for – 21 hours per week (3 days) – 42 weeks per year – (Term Time plus Inset Days and 3 further weeks during the holiday periods), plus 5.32 weeks paid holidays to be taken during the school holidays. Total weeks paid including holidays is 47.32.
The successful candidate will:
1. care deeply for the wellbeing and academic success of all our pupils;
2. be able to maintain and fix simple carpentry/building works, simple plumbing (washers, etc);
3. be highly motivated, organised and able to prioritise there workload;
4. be able to carry out maintenance on workshop tools and equipment on a weekly and monthly basis;
5. have excellent interpersonal skills, be a true team player and be adept at working independently;
6. have excellent organisational skills and a strong work ethic;
7. have a ‘can do’ attitude to problem solving.
