Job Description
Aviation has been highlighted in Europe and India as a high growth sector for AECOM. Our clients are beginning to re-invest in their assets, to ensure they are in the right condition, but also to ensure their capacity needs of the future. Sitting within our Infrastructure Project Management and Cost Management unit you will take on responsibility for the growth, service quality and delivery, people development and team leadership for Project Management and Cost Management in the UK for Aviation.
Here’s what you’ll do:
1. Direct, develop and grow our Aviation Project Management and Cost Management offer across the UK.
2. Manage and build the team reflective of the long-term growth and service proposition strategy.
3. Build the order portfolio across the UK with existing and new clients.
4. Develop a Business Plan that fully reflects the market growth potential and position AECOM as the premiere Aviation Project Management and Cost Management consultant in the UK.
5. Identify key clients and key pursuits. Prepare key client management plans and key pursuit plans.
6. Develop and maintain existing client relationships.
7. Help to grow the team including leading recruitment and coaching existing teams.
8. Lead major pursuit proposals.
9. Leverage the wider AECOM network and other business lines to enhance capability.
10. Implement and maintain AECOM international standards of project delivery.
11. Oversee the delivery of large complex and multidisciplinary Aviation projects.
Qualifications:
1. Technical Experience: Significant experience in project and/or programme delivery at Director level.
2. Business Development: Previous experience of developing and maintaining client relationships.
3. Team Management: Previous experience of team management and team building.
4. Advisory Experience: Demonstrate a strong client and stakeholder network within the Aviation industry.
5. Qualifications: MRICS or equivalent chartership.

2. Client relationships: Ability to develop and strengthen client relationships.
3. Commercial: Commercially astute with a clear understanding of business development goals.
4. Team Leadership: Strong team leadership skills.
