Coastal CAMHS Service (Chichester and Worthing) have an exciting opportunity for a permanent Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) Consultant Psychiatrist to join their locality team. This role plays an integral part in prioritising the delivery of a safe, effective, and caring service to children and young people (0yrs-18yrs).
This job attracts a Recruitment and Retention payment of £25,000, in addition to (up to) £8000 relocation allowance. The RRP payment is paid in the following instalments:
1. £5000 payment paid on appointment
2. £5000 retention payment paid at 12 month anniversary of employment
3. £6500 retention payment paid at 30 month anniversary of employment
4. £8500 retention payment paid at 48 month anniversary of employment

The service we provide is in line with NICE Evidenced Based Treatment for children and young people. You will provide high-quality specialist clinical assessments, including relevant psychiatric and physical investigations, to children, young people, and their families in various settings. You will work collaboratively with other team members to plan and deliver appropriate individually tailored treatment plans.
You will be part of a friendly and supportive multidisciplinary team, including nurses, psychologists, systemic family therapists, and child psychotherapists. This post will work alongside other Consultants and Specialty Doctors who work in Sussex CHYPS.
As part of a Trust-wide consultant network, you will have opportunities to liaise with colleagues in other posts throughout the Trust and develop peer networks. You will also meet consultant peers at regular division meetings in the locality and at clinical governance meetings.
